Just a quick recommendation for anyone passing through Smithfield: Today I stopped at World Restaurant, and let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem! It’s located in the back of an Exxon station, and I actually drove past it three times before I realized where it was. I ordered the quesadilla, and it was absolutely slamming. Fresh, flavorful, and hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Don’t let the location fool you—this place is outstanding. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. If you’re in Smithfield and looking for some great food, give World Restaurant a try! 🌮👍🔥

We got tortas, steak tacos, chorizo tacos. Incredibly tasty. The owner here is clearly incredibly passionate about his craft. It’s a charming independent spot tucked into a gas station, bring cash. If you can handle some heat, that red sauce is unique—Delicious balance of heat and smokiness which delivers great flavor onto a variety of dishes. Friendly, quick service, $15/ person, respectable portions of meat.
